Welcome to Continuing Education at Columbus State University!
For over 35 years, the CSU Division of Continuing Education has served as the center for lifelong learning by providing innovative educational training and personal enrichment opportunities for students, businesses and community partners in Columbus, Georgia area.
Continuing Education allows you to earn continuing education units (CEUs), a nationally recognized method for measuring non-credit course work.

We educate people of all ages and provide regional resources for personal and professional development while contributing to the mission of Columbus State University and enhancing the quality of life in our community.

Where Classes Meet
Most Continuing Education classes meet at the Elizabeth Bradley Turner Center on the CSU main campus or the Rankin Arts Center in Uptown Columbus. Other classes are held at various sites located around the Columbus area. Addresses and/or directions to class locations can be obtained by clicking on the location name in the class listing. Class locations are sent to you with your registration confirmation.
Directions
Elizabeth Bradley Turner Center: The Elizabeth Bradley Turner Center is conveniently located on the corner of East Lindsay Drive and College Drive in on the main CSU Campus. Directions
Rankin Arts Center: The entrance to the Rankin Arts Center is located at 1004 Broadway, on the east side of the street, just north of the corner of 10th Street and Broadway. Enter under the balcony and take the lobby elevator to the 2nd floor. Free parking with a two-hour limit is available on the street. Parking is also available in the city-owned parking garage located across the street on Broadway (entrance on Front Avenue) or in the parking garage directly across the street from RiverCenter. Classroom Policy
CSU Continuing Education is pleased to welcome and admit students of any race, color, religion, or national and ethnic origin to all classes.
Continuing Education reserves the right to change class locations, schedules, fees, and instructors when necessary.
No audio or video tape recording is permitted during classes without prior permission from the instructor.
Our classrooms can sometimes be too warm or cool. For your comfort, we recommend that you dress in layers or bring a light jacket with you to class.
Inclement Weather
Columbus State University does not issue refunds for classes which have been postponed due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control; however, we do make every effort to reschedule such classes. Listen to local radio or television stations for information about closings.

Continuing Education Units (CEU)
The Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a nationally recognized measurement of non-credit course work. One CEU (1.0) may be awarded for each ten hours of participation in an approved program. For selected programs, we keep a permanent record of participation, issue a certificate to acknowledge successful completion of the program, and provide official transcripts to you and your employer. All requests for transcripts must be in writing.
Students with Disabilities - Our facilities are designed to assist people with disabilities. We are equipped with electronic doors, wide sidewalks, a spacious elevator, and handicap restroom areas. Our facilities also have classroom braille labeling. View ADA compliance statement.
Military
Many Continuing Education certificate courses are approved for funding by the Department of Veterans Service. Check with your Veterans Affairs Representative to see if you are eligible for Financial Aid for Continuing Education classes. Many certificate programs are also eligible for funding through MyCAA and CAA. For further information or to inquire about a specific certification course, call 706.507.8070.
